Re: Weather and water volume four page 16

John I do know what you are saying ,but if I make these post it causes more discussion. Saying that, I have never seen a thermocline set up in buckhorn res. I have seen it in Jordan lake , kerr lake , and others but I have never seen it cause fish to leave a good structure and go search for somethin...

Re: Weather and water volume four page 16

John You seem to be of the opinion, that in the lakes you fish the thermocline causes the fish to change location. We know that fish are changing location all the time . Horizontally and vertically , deep to shallow and follow breaklines. Are you just talking about the bass large/small mouth or all ...

Re: Weather and water volume four page 16

It's very simple you stick to the basics. If you learn what each volume of the home study course is teaching you ,in them is the answer to all your fishing questions. But this is not easy it takes a strong desire on the fisherman's behalf. It makes no difference if a lake stratify 's or not the fish...

Re: Qustion for John Bales

Yes I can recall reading the home study course were Mr. Buck stated you may want a longer line in the colder season. But in no way does this mean braid won't be just as effective as no bo . Really as far as longer lines and inactive fish braid may be better. All that braid does is just run the plugs...

Re: CONTACT POINT

I would love to have a 3000 acre reservoir with good color right down the road that is full of big bass where I could go run the lures Yea I'm very thankful that Buckhorn res. is only 35 miles from my house, good water color and full of big bass. Besides that there is a country grill just 2 miles fr...

Re: CONTACT POINT

Not gonna speak for others but that is not directly related to shallow water, so maybe under bad conditions it’s worth a checking? Joe I think you are 100% correct thats a dead end. Since I’m posting- I might stop the migration route short of what others have said- they have access to shallow water ...

Re: Flood Plain Reservoirs

Watchin the bass pro tour couple weeks back when they were on chickamuga KVD was the winner. But on one clip were he was catching some bass most ever cast he made the comment about how he had his hydrowave set to a certain frequency making the bass feed. Myself I thought about the rest of your day w...
