I believe this is the Fishing Facts article that Buck wrote that Don talked about in the interview.

Thanks for taking the time to dig through Fishing Facts and come up with the article mentioned by Don in his interview. It's unfortunate that Buck just didn't tell the story of the catch made off of Figure 1 and how it came about. By presenting the story in conjunction with stressing the importance of mapping and interpretation, its impact would have been much greater. It's kind of like, would you rather hear a fish story or hear the story and see a picture of the fish; i.e. Tom holding the muskie. Don's remarks regarding why the spot was chosen, how it was fished, and what the depths and speeds involved were have much more immediacy than the simple glancing remarks made in the article. Buck was all about teaching and because of that we learned to become Spoonpluggers. But it's always fun to hear a good fish story, or in Don's case, a great fish story! Thanks for all you do, Jim.
